1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Respira for WordPress ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Respira for WordPress is a WordPress plugin that enables AI coding assistants to edit WordPress sites through a secure REST API using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service is available in two versions:
- Respira for WordPress Lite - Free version available from the WordPress.org plugin directory
- Respira for WordPress (Full) - Premium version with extended features and support
The Service includes:
- WordPress plugin software
- MCP server software
- License management and activation (paid plans only)
- Support and documentation
3. License and Usage Rights
3.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or commercial WordPress sites, in accordance with your purchased license tier.
3.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Share, sell, or redistribute your license key
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the Service to harm, exploit, or harass others
4. License Tiers and Limits
4.1 Lite License (Free)
- Completely free, available from WordPress.org plugin directory
- Unlimited WordPress sites (no license key required)
- 30 edits per month per site
- Gutenberg (Block Editor) support only
- 3-day audit log retention
- No duplicate-before-edit safety feature (edits live pages directly)
- Community support via WordPress.org forums
- No SLA or guaranteed uptime
Lite Version Service Level:
The Lite version is provided free of charge on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, support response times, or feature availability. The service may be modified or discontinued at any time. For production sites requiring guaranteed support and safety features, we recommend upgrading to a paid plan.
4.2 Trial License
- 7-day free trial period (for paid features)
- Limited to 1 WordPress site
- Access to all paid features
- No credit card required
4.3 Starter License
- 1-year license (yearly payment only)
- Limited to 1 WordPress site
- All 10 page builders supported (Divi, Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.)
- Unlimited edits per month
- Duplicate-before-edit safety feature
- 90-day audit log retention
- 1 year of updates and support included
4.4 Agency License
- 1-year license (yearly payment only)
- Up to 20 WordPress sites
- All features included
- Priority support
- 90-day audit log retention
5. Payment and Refunds
Note: The Lite version is completely free and requires no payment. The sections below apply only to paid plans (Trial, Starter, and Agency).
5.1 Payment
All payments for paid plans are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy. Prices are displayed in EUR (€) and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location.
5.2 Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. After 30 days, all sales are final.
5.3 License Activation
Each license key (for paid plans) is valid for the number of sites specified in your license tier. License activation is tracked per WordPress site URL. Deactivating a license on one site allows you to activate it on another site within your license limit.
Lite version: No license key is required. Simply create a free account to get your API key and start using the plugin on any number of sites (subject to the 30 edits/month limitation per site).
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your API keys and license keys (if applicable)
- Ensuring your WordPress sites are properly backed up before using the Service
- Reviewing and approving all changes made through the Service
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not using the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
⚠️ Important for Lite Users:
The Lite version edits your live pages directly without creating duplicates first. We strongly recommend maintaining regular backups of your WordPress site. For production sites where safety is critical, consider upgrading to a paid plan which includes the duplicate-before-edit safety feature.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to:
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
7.1 Service Level by Plan
- Lite Version: Provided "as-is" with no SLA or uptime guarantees. Support is limited to community forums on WordPress.org.
- Paid Plans (Starter/Agency): We aim for 99%+ uptime and provide email support. Paid users receive priority assistance and advance notice of any planned maintenance.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, documentation, and content, is owned by Respira and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Respira, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
- You must stop using the software and delete all copies
- We may delete your account and associated data
13. Upgrading from Lite to Paid Plans
Lite users can upgrade to a paid plan (Starter or Agency) at any time. When upgrading:
- Your existing account and API key remain the same
- You'll receive a license key for the paid version after purchase
- Install the full version plugin and activate your license key
- All paid features (multiple page builders, unlimited edits, 90-day logs, safety features) become available immediately
- You can uninstall the Lite version and replace it with the full version
Your usage history and sites connected under the Lite version will be preserved after upgrading.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your Jurisdiction].
